Ulrich Forcher was the son of Peter Forcher and his wife Heimke Maria Decker. In September of 1892 the family moved from Illinois to Lake Creek, Texas. By 1900 the family was living and farming in Archer County, Texas. Ulrich married Martha E. Schultz in August 1911 at his parent's home in Archer County. They had one child, Margaret Helen. Martha died about 1916. Ulrich married Irene Margaret Black on June 2, 1919. They had two daughters, Edna Marie and Thelda Evelyn. Ulrich died of skin cancer at home, 1408 Bluff Street, Wichita Falls.
