COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral for William O. Jackson, 78, Westbrook farmer, was to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Methodist Church here.

The Reverend W. H. Kile pastor of the Bailey Chapel Church was to officiate assisted by the Reverend Bruce Parks of Kelton. Burial was to be in Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Jackson died at his home Monday. He was born December 27, 1976 in Alabama and had lived in Mitchell County since 1910. He married Margaret Ayers in 1899 in Alabama.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Tom Jackson and Ted Jackson both of Westbrook and Holly Jackson of Colorado City; five daughters, Mrs. Alvin Byrd and Mrs. Elmo Daniel both of Westbrook, Mrs. O. A. Ruffin of Colorado City, Mrs. J. L. Stokes of Crane and Mrs. John Hart of Salt Flat; two brothers, Dr. T. G. Jackson of Gorman and J. W. Jackson of Carbon; two sisters, Mrs. Elbert Graham of Vernon, Alabama and Mrs. Vinia Henson of Carbon; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
