COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral for Ted Jackson, 61, a Westbrook farmer was to be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the First Methodist Church here.
The Reverend Henry Parminter, pastor of Bailey Chapel Methodist Church was to officiate. Burial was to be in the Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Jackson was born May 4, 1907 in Lamar County, Alabama. He came to Howard County in 1918 and to Mitchell County in 1920.
He married Ruby Allison and was a member of the Bailey Chapel Methodist Church. His farm is seven miles north of Westbrook.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Billy Joe Wood of Colorado City and Mrs. Jimmy Moody of Westbrook; one son, Robert of the home; two brothers, Tom Jackson of Colorado City and Holly Jackson of Westbrook; four sisters, Mrs. Alvin Byrd of Westbrook, Mrs. O. A. Ruffin of Colorado City, Mrs. John R. Hart of Roswell, New Mexico, and Mrs. Ada Bell Daniel of Coahoma; four grandchildren.
