Mrs. Lena H. Crawford, 82, died Wednesday, April 26 in a nursing home in Vernon. She was the wife of the late Rev. L.J. Crawford of Hedley who passed away in Hedley in 1975 [sic]. Services for Mrs. Crawford were held in Vernon at the Second Baptist Church there by a grandson, Rev. Fred Porter and graveside services were held at the Rowe Cemetery at Hedley, Friday the 28th. Mrs. Crawford leaves five daughters, four sons, three stepsons, four stepdaughters two of which lived in Hedley Mrs. Verna Wade and Mrs. Lillye Moore. Sympathy, is extended to the Crawford family.
