Preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Porter and a son, Fred Porter. Loving mother of Lawanda Bond of Hemet, Dorothy Hardman (John) of Crescent City and Myrlene Marshall (Chuck) of Elk Grove. Devoted grandmother of Lanelle, Elaine, Tom, Kathleen, Pam, Rod, Kim, Pete, Bryan, Debbie and Steve. Also survived by 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 1 brother and 3 sisters. A resident of Elk Grove for 3 years. A native of Texas, aged 89 years.
Friends are welcome for visitation, Sunday, 5:00 P.M. til 8:00 P.M. and are invited to attend services Monday, September 1, at 11:00 A.M. in Elk Grove Funeral Chapel 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. in Elk Grove.
Internment will be in Vernon, Texas.
