Funeral services for Robert Edgar Beach, 77 who died late Tuesday in Utleyville, Colo., were at 10 a.m. today at the Hedley Baptist Church.
Officiating was the Rev. Bob Estes, pastor and the Rev. H.T. Harris of Childress. Burial was in Rowe Cemetery under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.
Mr. Beach, a resident of Hedley 51 years, had been in Utleyville, Colo. four days visiting a daughter. He was born in Grayson County and was a retired farmer. He married Miss Mable Forrest Hightower on June 14, 1911, at Sadler.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Jess of Hedley, Jack of Ft. Defiance, Ariz. and R.L. of Colorado Springs, Colo; daughters, Louise Humphrey of Utleyville, and Mrs. Margaret Plunk of Sunray; a brother, Perry of 912 Travis, Amarillo; sisters, Mrs. Tillie Spalding and Mrs. Frances Brinson of Hedley; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; He was preceded in death by a ?.
Active pallbearers were Chester ?, Frank Murray, J.B. :, Robert Moffitt, Dean Fri? and Hanzel Adamson.
