COY, VAUGHN R. JR. "RED," 73, of New Port Richey, formerly of Oldsmar, died Sunday (Oct. 1, 2000) at Harborside Health Care-Gulf Coast, New Port Richey. Born in Edmeston, N.Y., he came here in March from Oldsmar, where he lived for 30 years. He was a contractor in the construction industry and a Marine veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW, both in Safety Harbor. Survivors include his wife, Elsie M.; two stepsons, Thomas Hulslander, Oldsmar, and John Hulslander, Holiday; three daughters, Andrea Muise, North Syracuse, N.Y., Nancy Muise, Dayton, Ohio, and Kathleen Cuthbert, Auburn, N.Y.; two stepdaughters, Sandra Kurtz, Cortland, N.Y., and Carol Jones, Port Richey; two brothers, Norman, Wesley Chapel, and Franklin, Verona, N.Y.; a stepbrother, James, Hampton, Va.; a sister, Estella Murling, Rome, N.Y.; a stepsister, Carol Cadrettte, Rome, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
