BLACKSHEAR - Daisy Ann Jones, 52, died May 27 at home. A native of Pierce County, she had lived most of her life in Blackshear. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for many years with the Riverside Nursing Home in Waycross. She was a member of Blackshear United Methodist Church and the Licensed Practical Nurses Association.
SURVIVORS: her mother, Jessie Aspinwall of Blackshear; three brothers, Eldon Jones of Blackshear, J. Robert Jones of Brunswick and W. Perry Jones of Riverview, Fla.; two special friends, Vickie Thompson and Beth Archer; and a number of other relatives. -Savannah Now, May 2000.
