Rose Mary Abraham Terbay, (Mamaw), age 92, died on Sunday, November 06, 2005, in Georgetown, Texas. Rose was born February 2, 1913, in Austin, Texas, to Lebanese immigrants, Salam and Elizabeth (Daywood) Abraham.

She was a life long member of St. Mary's Cathedral, a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters and a lifetime member of the American Lebanese Association.

While raising her young children after the death of her husband, she began a career working at Levine's Department Store. When Levine's closed its doors, she then went to work at Fashion Barn and also began helping her brother with his business, Abraham Central Shoe Repair, where many customers lovingly referred to her as "Aunt Rose". She was finally forced into retirement by her family and friends at the dashing young age of 88.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Terbay, Sr. of Austin and Patty Williams of Georgetown; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grand children and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dave of Austin; sisters, Anna of Austin and Martha of California; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2005, with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar. A Funeral Mass with Celebrant, Father George Joseph, will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2005, in the Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the B wing at Wesleyan Nursing Home, Georgetown and Hospice of Austin.
