Patricia Harmon Winton, 81, of 159 Ashwood Place Danville, VA died Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Stratford Rehabilitation Center. She had been in declining health for the past nine months.

Mrs. Winton was born November 12, 1928 in Huntington, WV the daughter of Russell Harmon and Maude Goodall Harmon and was the last survivor of her generation. She lived most of her life in Chesapeake, OH until relocating to Danville in 1992.

Mrs. Winton was a graduate of the Chesapeake High School Class of 1947 and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Teresa Chapter in Proctorville, OH. She was retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Company.

Mrs. Winton was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church.

On February 12, 1952 she was married to Daniel E. Winton, he died December 23, 2004.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Winton Anderson and her husband, Robert E. (Bob) Anderson of the home and two grandchildren, Wendy Hall of Green Bay, VA and Chuck Anderson of Ringgold; eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from the graveside at Floral Hills Memory Gardens by Pastor Austin Merricks.
