Sallie Ann "Annie" Stephens Hastings Weddington was born Tuesday, December 20, 1887 in Tennessee to Andrew Jackson Stephens and Minerva Parilee Stewart Stephens. ~ Mrs. Weddington Is Buried Today

Mrs. Annie Weddington, 53, died at her home at 2 Ninth avenue at 5 p.m. Sunday, after a long illness.

Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Thompson, Mrs. Leona Bailey, and Mrs. Zella Mae Vickers, all of Huntsville, and Mrs. Alurenea Harris of Anniston.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. today at the residence, the Rev. Charles Rigby officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill cemetery, with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
