George fought in the Civil War, along side his father in Pvt. E Co. 8th TN Cav 10 Oct 1863-11 Sep 1865 He was wounded by a gunshot in the leg. In addition to the children that are linked below there was another child that was their firstborn child and her burial place is unknown. She was Mary N. Price born 6 Oct 1865 died Dec 1865. They lived in Eidson at the time and she is probably in the same Brooks Cemetery in Eidson where George and Susan are buried in an unmarked grave. We know of her existence because my grandfather, John A. Price, had written down the names of his siblings on a piece of paper that was kept in Vandilla Price's Bible.
