Augustine Cantrell, 67, of Lookout, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at her home.
She was born in Pike County, Oct. 15, 1937, a daughter of the late Jesse Kendrick and Magie Anderson Kendrick.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Cantrell.
She is survived by three sons, Dewayne Cantrell of Lookout, Michael Cantrell of Lyons, Ohio, and Richard Cantrell of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Anna Lee Cantrell of Shelby Gap, and Dawn Lynn Phillips of Unicoa, Tenn.; two brothers, Homer Kendrick of Marrowbone, and Ralph Kendrick of Jimmy Creek; two sisters, Velsie Matney of Ohio, and Gennivie Webb of Round Lake, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 27, in the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church, with Estill Mullins and Jimmy Kerr officiating. Burial followed in the Lookout Cemetery.
