Clara was the only daughter of James and Hannah (Matter) Eby. She was the wife of George Franklin "Frank" Mace. She was the mother of seven children. Clara died at her home in Berrysburg from typhoid fever. She was only 31 years old. Also, she gave birth to a daughter on Jan 3rd. Clara passed away the following day.
