Clifford was the 22 year old son of Nicholas and Hannah Amberg.
He never married.
He was a farmer in Atlanta, Logan, Illinois.

LINCOLN --- The death of Clifford H. Amberg, 22, son of Nicholas Amberg of near Atlanta, occurred at 8:55 p.m. Monday at St. Clara's hospital. He submitted to an amputation of a leg last August in an effort to check the spread of a complication.

He was born Aug. 11, 1912 in Broadwell township. Surviving are his father and the following brothers and sisters: Clifton, his twin, Mrs. Bernice Liesman, Myrtle and Clarence Amberg of Atlanta; Walter Amberg, Hallsville; Mrs. Lulu Scroggins and Paul Amberg of Lincoln.

The body was taken from the Sheets home to the Scroggins home on Lincoln avenue.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's church in charge of the Rev. Leo P. Henkel. Burial was in Zion cemetery.
