LADY LAKE — Ruth Evelyn Martin, 79, died Saturday, March 13, 2010.
Ms. Martin was born in East Providence, RI, and moved to Lady Lake from San Diego in 1990.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Hole in One Club in The Villages; enjoyed golf and reading.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy McCord, Oklahoma City, OK; sons Stephen, Oklahoma City, Michael, Rumford, RI, David, Riverside, RI; sister, Jeanne McGinnis, Lincoln, RI; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 19, at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left at beyersfuneralhome.com. Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake, is in charge of arrangements.
