TIPTON, Iowa - Nick Kennedy, 42 of Muscatine died Saturday, May 25, 2002 at the Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport following a short illness.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Wittich Lewis Funeral Home. Visitation is 4 - 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine. Casket bearers are, Andrew Kennedy, Jim Burch, Don Curry and Kevin Christensen.

Nicholas was born October 6th, 1959 in Muscatine, the son of Lawrence and Mary V. Kennedy.

He was a 1978 graduate from Muscatine High School. He worked for Allsteel in Muscatine for 23 years. He loved motorcycles and moto cross. He also enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.

He will be deeply missed by his father; Lawrence Kennedy, his brother, Andrew Kennedy, sister Glenda and husband Jim Burch all of Muscatine, one nephew, Sidney Foster and one niece, Ashley Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Mary Kennedy and one brother Lawrence Kennedy Jr.
