He appeared in the Natchez Mississippi Court Record in 1791 and in the Spanish Census of The Natchez District in 1792. Jacob was the original owner of 320 acres of land along the Mississippi that was sold in 1806 to an Anthony Glass. On September 16, 1809, Jacob filed that he had been in possession of the land before 1800.
