Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, March 15, 2010, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Nita Taylor, 96, who passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.

Entombment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum in Arnaudville.

Father Austin Leger will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Pearl Wyble and Lisa Champagne.

Nita enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved playing cards and going dancing.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Wyble and his wife, Tina, and Bobby Wyble and his wife, Pearl; two daughters, Wilda Edmond and Grace Frederick and her husband, Norman, all of Arnaudville; one brother, Harold Taylor, of Arnaudville; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Ella Guidry Taylor; her brothers, Jerome, Preston, Colbert, Leroy, Moise, Lolly, and Elrick Taylor; and her sisters, Evelyn Taylor, Thelma Guidry, and Elfleda Olivier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Cody Champagne, Beau Champagne, Kevin Edmond, Matthew Wyble, Daniel Wyble, and Damon Wyble.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
