Funeral Tomorrow
Hannah Lutetia Allen was born in Wayne County, Iowa, June 7, 1859 and passed away at the home, 511 West Canal Street, January 23, 1928. The funeral services will be held from the Christian Church, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Charles L. Thomas. Burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
The deceased was united in marriage, February 23, 1885, to W. H. Miller, and to this union five children were born, one baby died in infancy. Besides the sorrowing husband left to mourn are: O. F. Miller, of Mr. Pleasant, Iowa; Mrs. Jennie Davis, of Brookfield; Mrs. Nita Pound, of Callton, Missouri; Mrs. Ruth Dodd, of Forker; four grandchildren; one brother, P. F. Allen, of Denver Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. O. H. Reynolds, of Decatur, Iowa; Mrs. E. B. Reynolds, of Timber Lake, South Dakota.
Mrs. Miller had been a resident of Brookfield for the past thirty-eight years. She united with the Christian Church, which is located on South Main Street. She was also an active member of the S.B.A. Council No. 17.
