Mary Louise Preble Gibson passed away peacefully after a long battle with Lymphoma on March 12, 2006. She loved nature in any form. Heaven will rejoice in her gardening. She was born to Maurice and Mildred Preble on June 7, 1927 in St. Augustine, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Coy D. Gibson. She is survived by her loving children, Ronald Preble his wife Lisa, William Allen Gibson and his wife Linda, John Duene Gibson and his wife Gayle and Mary Leigh Walter and her husband Jepp; two sisters, Janet Wilson and Dot Delaney, two brothers Maurice Percy Preble and John Carl Preble; wonderful sister and brother-in-laws, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Memorial Service Wednesday,12 noon at Arlington Presbyterian Church on 1300 Sprinkle Dr., In Lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society. Burial of urn to be later in year at Busnell Veterans Cemetary [sic] beside her belated husband, in a quaint service with her children.
