Helen P. Windsor, 70, 1115 Barland St., Eau Claire, passed away Tuesday morning, March 14, 1995, at Luther Hospital.
Helen was born May 12, 1924, to Ferdinand and Emilie (Krueger) Pahl in Cornell. She married Herbert Windsor June 17, 1950, at Epiphany Luthean Church in Eau Claire. Helen was a long time member of Epiphany Lutheran Church and belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a 4-H leader.
During World War II Helen worked for the National Pressure Cooker Company.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert; a daughter, Janet (Walter) Bahr of Portland, Ore.; a son Michael (Lisa) Windsor of Chippewa Falls; four grandchildren, Jeremiah and Rachel Bahr and Jason and Jenifer Windsor; three brothers, Henry Pahl of Michigan, Alvin Pahl of Cornell and Arthur Pahl of Jim Falls; a sister, Ella Walsvik of Holcombe.
She was preceded in death by a son, Alan.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Epiphany Lutheran Church with Pastor Frederick Sauder officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8pm Thursday at Fuller Funeral Home and and hour before services Friday at the church.
Helen was a very special person and loved by everyone who new her. She had a very strong faith in God and passed it on to others. Her main purpose in life was to love and care for her family and friends. She was always cheerful and kind to anyone she would meet. Helen will be greatly missed but there is comfort to know what she is at peace in Heaven with God.
