Henry C. DuVall, the father of Mrs. G. C. Garrison, passed away Thursday afternoon at his home in the south part of town. He had been sick about three months, lobar pneumonia being the cause of his death.

He was born in Maryland, but lived most of his life in Warren county, Ind. His age was 76 years and 2 days. He was married Oct. 18, 1883, to Lucinda S…ens, and was the father of eight children, four of whom are deceased. Surviving are the widow; T. B. DuVall, Lebanon, Ind.; Mrs. Garrison, Mrs. Wm. McDowell, Lafayette; 17 grandchildren, and one brother, G. M. DuVall, Cherryvale, Kan.

Mr. DuVall was a member of the First Free Methodist church, of Lafayette, where the funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:45. Burial at West Lebanon.
