She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a well known as a local bowler who paricipated in many leagues over several years. Her crowning achievement was being elected to the Oswego Women's Bowling Hall of Fame. Norma was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed going to the casinos with friends and playing Bunco. Harborfest was her favorite time of the year and was known to have spent the entire day taking in as many activities as possible.Being a great lover of music, Norma attended all the music events she was able to.
Surviving are two daughters, Christine (William) Palmer, Kimberly (John) Germain, and a son David (LeeAnn Walker) Bauer all of Oswego, 8 grandchildren, William Palmer, Evan Palmer, John Germain, David Germain, Eric Germain, Karey Yacetta, Jason Bauer and Marc Bauer, 7 great grandchildren and a personal friend Jean Zeno.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1997.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 from the Dowdle Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
