Friedrick Voland Plymouth Reporter March 21, 1908
Friedrick Voland passed away Tuesday evening at the home of his son, Alfred, from a lengthy nerve disease at the age of 64 years. He was born in Sachsen, Germany and came to America with his parents in 1854. They first lived in Thiensville and then on a farm one mile east of here. His wife preceded him in death 2 years ago and he is survived by 5 sons and 3 daughters, also 5 brothers. Burial is in the Rockville cemetery with Pastor Rech officiating.
His son William was born in 1877 went to Fond du Lac and Philip was born 1887 and went to Milwaukee.
