MRS. JOHNSON SERVICES MONDAY
Last rites for Mrs. Alma O. Johnson, 85, were held Monday afternoon at the Algona Methodist church, with Rev. Wesley Frunk of Good Hope officiating.
Mrs. Johnson from near Burt, died last Friday. Burial was in Riverview cemetery.
Survivors are three daughters, Ellen Omholt, Fort Shaw, Mont.; Esther Rath, Burt; and Myrtle Rutledge, Algona.
Pall bearers were D. C. Gardener, J. M. Elmore, Wm. Broderson, John Foth, Algona; Kenneth Strayer, Burt, and Sylvester Arnducter, Bancroft.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Sweden in 1865, coming to this country at the age of 16. She was married to John A. Johnson in Chicago in 1887. He preceded her in death as did one son. The family lived in St.Paul and moved to Algona many years ago and had lived in this area since.
