Eugene E. Gash, 81, of Hershey died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

He was born June 13, 1928 in McKeesport, the son of the late Elmer and Julia (Pollick) Gash.

Eugene was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He graduated from Waynesburg College.

Eugene was a Supervisor for the High Casualty Insurance Company and retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Revenue.

He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey.

Eugene is survived by his wife: Rita Gash; his sons: David Gash of Hershey and Gene Gash of Houtzdale; his granddaughter: Heather (Mark) Evanoka of Mt. Prospect, Illinois; and, his sister: Joan (Frank) Bellevance of Elizabeth.

A Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 03:45 PM on Sunday, March 14, 2010 in Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Incorporated, Hershey. Visitation will be held from 04:00 - 06:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:30 AM on Monday, March 15, 2010 in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church.

Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
