Mrs. Jerry Dean, who made her home here for more than 50 years before having to be with her children three years ago, died in Knight's Rest Home at Littlefield at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 23. She was 92 years of age. Mrs. Dean was born Lucy Fulton in Missouri, Feb. 18, 1871. She came here with her family in 1908. On Dec. 1, 1805, she was married to Jerry M. Dean at St. Jo. Mrs. Dean became a member of the Church of Christ early in life.
Survivors are 5 daughters and two sons: Mrs. Bertha Hurst of Friona; Mrs. Maude Russell and Mrs. Grace Ridings of Pampa; Mrs. Ruby Sullivan of Anton; Mrs. Sylvia Shaw of Victorville, CA; Elmo Dean of Bovina and Tom Dean of Las Vegas, NV. There are 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
