Mrs. Lucy R. Hunsaker died Sunday afternoon in the Wellington hospital following injuries received early that morning in an auto accident which occurred on the highway five miles east of Mobeetie when the car in which she and three companions were riding overturned several times. According to reports, Mrs. Hunsaker sustained a broken neck, but she survived several hours although consciousness was never regained. Other occupants of the car escaped with only minor injuries.

Mrs. Hunsaker was well known to the people of Collingsworth County, having been born here Feb. 15, 1908, and had been reared in or near Wellington. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Dean, reside four miles northwest of Wellington. She was 23 years, 7 months and 5 days of age.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Hunsaker is survived by five sisters, two brothers and a small son, Claud Hunsaker, age 2. The sisters are Mrs. Bertha Hurst of Mobeetie, Mrs. Maudie Russell of Wellington, Mrs. Grace Ridings of Hollis, Mrs. Ruby Tice of Spearman, and Mrs. Sylvia Allred of Wellington. The brothers are Elmore Dean of Bovina and Thomas Dean of Wellington.
