Darline V. Cook, 90, died Thursday, July 1, 1993, in Amarillo. Graveside services were held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 1993 in Fairview Cemetery, Wellington, with Rev. Chris Cook officiating.
She was born in Randolph, TX on July 8, 1902 to J. B. and Lorena Bell Long. She married Olin C. Cook in 1917. He died in 1970. She is a former resident of Wellington, Perryton and Victoria. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Victoria. Survivors include a daughter, Tommie Jo Amburn of Amarillo; a son, Rudolph Devoy Cook of Bryan; a sister, Annie Caison of Wellington, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
