Michael "Mike" Porter-age 40, a native and resident of Saraland, AL, tragically left us on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 along with his loving wife Jen Porter. Mike loved cooking and golfing. His family and friends will miss his great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Porter, grandfather, Wyman Mills, and his wife Jennifer Garland Porter. He is survived by his mother, Jo Porter Boshell, grandmother, Erma Mills, daughter, Brittney Porter, two step-children, Shehryar Jamil and Saima Jamil, brother, Kevin Porter, step mother, Debra Porter and three half-siblings, David, Beth and Karen, all of Saraland, and many other relatives, loved ones and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm Chapel Service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the American Diabetes Assoc-iation at 6801 Airport Blvd., Mobile, AL 36608. Arrangements by
