Cemetery, Rockville. Mrs. Raquet, nee Elsie Feile, was born April 23, 1911, at Green Bay, daughter of the late Henry and Anna Redmen Feile. She came to Kiel as a young girl and graduated from Kiel High School in 1930. She was married to Athniel Raquet June 27, 1931, at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel. Her husband is chairman of the Town of Schleswig. The couple operated the Raquet home farm in the Town of Schleswig. Mrs. Raquet was a member of St. Peter Church, the women's Guild and Sewing Circle of the church and also a charter member of the Mendelssohn Choir. She started the Riverside 4-H Club in Kiel. She was a member of the Centennial Homemakers Club and the Schleswig Cemetery Ladies Aid.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Glorian) Lechler of R. 2, Kiel; a son, Gordon of R. 1, Elkhart Lake; four grandchildren and a stepbrother, Clarence Feile of Sturgeon Bay.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday and then at the church from noon until the time of service.
