Francis E. Pothier NORTHAMPTON — Francis E. "Bucky" Pothier, 69, of 91 Market St., a retired assistant engineer at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Leeds, died Sunday in The Cooley Dickinson Hospital. He retired in 1974 after working 30 years at the medical center. Born in Northampton, he was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and a member of the Northampton Lodge of Elks. He leaves his wife, the former Augustina "Chris" Poleto; a brother, Louis of Chicopee, and a sister, Olive Pothier of Northampton. His daughter, Joanne Margaret Pothier, died in 1966. The funeral will be tomorrow at the Northampton Czelusniak Funeral Horne and in the church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are this afternoon and evening.
