Geraldine was born on March 5, 1935 in Stephens County to William J. Wimberley and Clara Duckworth Wimberley. She married James Hogan and he preceded her in death she then married Lloyd Mayberry on February 28, 1972. She worked at the Pie Shop Café, Davis Manufacturing, and the Birch Coffee Shop. Geraldine was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Thurman and husband, Harry of Breckenridge and Misty Harvick and husband, Brian of Throckmorton; son, Sam Mayberry of Breckenridge; brothers, William Loyd Wimberley and wife, Holly of Arlington, Don Richard Wimberley of Breckenridge, and James David Wimberley and wife, Ginger of Breckenridge, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 1 brother, and 1 sister. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association and can be left at the funeral home.
