Paul Lilge, 76, of 620 Twelfth Street, Kiel, died unexpectedly December 6 at his home of an apparent heart attack.

He was born May 3, 1903, at Sheboygan, son of August and Bertha Jeskey Lilge. He attended district school at Rockville. He married the former Erna Ninmer on June 10, 1925, at Zion Lutheran church in Louis Corners. She died in 1951.
On May 1, 1954, he married the former Clara Heckmann at Kiel. She died in 1958.
He then married the former Anita Kattreh on October 17, 1959, at Trinity Lutheran church in Kiel. She died in 1973. Mr. Lilge resided in the Kiel area his entire life. He farmed in the town of Schleswig and later was employed at Kiel Foundry and Kiel Wooden Ware Company. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a past member of the Church Council on which he served for 12 years and a past trustee of Schleswig Cemetery Association.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Gierke and Mrs. Donald McCabe, both of rural Kiel; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Ralph Korn and Mrs. Ervin Ploetz, both of Appleton; Mrs. Valeria Kluenker and Mrs. Marvin Kliment, both of Manitowoc; a stepson, Loyal Kattreh of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Oelerich of Kiel, Mrs. Thomas Jurgens of Valders, Mrs. Milton Raeder of Plymouth; five grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Richard Warnke, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
