Wilson Jackson Hencely, Sr. passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Forsyth City Cemetery. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.

Wilson, the son of the late Lewis Eli Hencely, Sr. and Bertha Mae Lunsford Hencely was born September 10, 1938, in Juliette, Georgia. His wife, Juanice Hall preceded him in death. He was retired owner and operator of a fast food restaurant and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his children, Miranda Harper (Gary) of Arizona, Selina Waller (Chris) of Griffin, Sabrina Moran (Larry) of Griffin, Wesley Hencely of South Carolina and Duke Hencely (Candie) of Mississippi; fifteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
