Military records: HARPER, Micajah T. 1st Sgt., Enlisted as a Pvt. in Co. A, 6th Regiment Ga. State Troops October 17, 1861. Mustered out April 1862.
Appointed 1st Sgt., of Co. H, 32rd Reg. Ga. Inf May 6, 1862. Admitted to C.S.A. General Military Hospital #4, at Wilmington, NC., on account of debility, Jan. 5, 1863. Furloughed for 25 days Jan. 30, 1863. Pension records show he was wounded, right leg permanently disabled at Olustee, Fla., Feb. 20, 1864, and was at home, wounded, close of war.
