David E Meharg – A former well-known resident of Tillsonburg, died suddenly at his home in Comber on Thurs June 19th. The remains were brought to Tillsonburg for interment, and the funeral took place on Sunday from the home of his brother in law, Wallace Birdsall, Tillson Ave. Service was conducted by Rev TH Bole, and the pallbearers were 6 brothers: Robert, Charles, Joseph, John, Nicholas and Whitfield Meharg. Mr Meharg is survived by his wife, the former Miss Birdsall.
