Lillie M. Tull, 88, of Marlin, Texas, entered into rest Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at the Chilton Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Rawls officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin.

Lillie was born in Hill County, Texas, to Edwin and Ida Zettler Herzog. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Chilton. She loved her flower garden and yard work. Lillie had one of the most beautiful yards in Chilton. She was an accomplished cook and enjoyed sewing. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Afton Tull, in 1989; and a daughter, Verdie Mae Tull, in 1948.

Survivors include daughters, Connie Salsiccia and husband, Sam, of Marlin, Bonnie Jones and husband, Ed, of Mexia, Marilyn Freytag, of Hewitt, Rita Presley and husband, Mickey, of Bryan; sons, Kenneth Tull and wife, Martha, of Jewett, Sammy Tull and wife, Lucy, of Marble Falls, Michael Tull and wife, Kay, of Temple, Danny Tull, of Rosebud, and Rickey Tull and wife, Tammy, of Lorena; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Janie Combs, of Waco; brothers-in-law, Paul Tull and L.D. Tull; and sisters-in-law, Mildred Airheart, Betty Bethke, and Zena Greuser.
