OCALA - Charles H. Newton, 78, an employee of Custom Windows of Ocala, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003. A native of Philadelphia, he moved here from Flat Rock, Mich., in 1983. Mr. Newton was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 8083, Belleview; Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, Belleview. He was Protestant and a U.S Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lee Newton, Ocala; sons, Douglas Newton, Grosse Ile, Mich., Charles Newton, Houston, and Steve Moffitt, Ocala; daughters, Lynn Camden, Deltona, Sherry Moffitt, Oviedo, and Cindy Will, Reno, Nev.; brother, Bud Newton, Chicago; and four grandchildren. Florida Cremation Society, Ocala, provided information.
