Evelyn Russell Adams, 67, of Pleasanton, KS, died Wednesday, December 1, 1999, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City.

She was born November 23, 1932, in LaCygne, KS. She was married to Charles Robert Russell, who died June 25, 1996. She then married Clarence Adams. She was a member of the Bykota Southern Baptist Church, the Lincoln Club of Pleasanton and Brownington Baptist Church Band and Friends. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Adams of Pleasanton, KS; five sons, John Robert (Shirley) Russell of Clinton, Jerry Ray (Sandy) Russell of Lowry City, Eddie Arlie (Joya) Russell of Denver, CO, William Robert (Ranette) Russell of Belton, and James Dean (Shannon) Russell of Dunnington, CA; two daughters, Alice Jean (J.R.) King of Osceola, and Joyce Ann (John) Dickey of Bronaugh; two brothers, Marvin and Delbert Ennis, both of Peoria, IL; three sisters, Rose Sulfridge and Linda Jones, both of Peoria, IL, and Doris Nichols of Branson; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at the Bykota Southern Baptist Church in Pleasanton, KS. Burial will be made in the Jingo Cemetery, Jingo, KS.
