She died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002.
She was born Dec. 8, 1899, in Dyemound and married Kenneth K. Bozeman on Jan. 18, 1927, in Altus, Okla. He died in June 1977. She moved to Lubbock from Tipton, Okla., in 1938. She was a homemaker and a member of Greenlawn Church of Christ.
She was active in the visitation programs at Broadway, Parkway and Greenlawn churches of Christ. She helped raise funds for LCU Associates, gave land for Bozeman Elementary, gave funds to ACU and LCU, received the Heritage Award given by ACU and contributed to the White River Youth Camp.
A son, V.C. "Corky," died in 1986.
Survivors include a sister, Anas Head of Fort Sumner, N.M.; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
