Edith Still Long, 82, of Haleyville died Friday, Nov. 11, 2000, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Nov. 12, 2000, in the chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home with burial in the Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville. Terry Bentley will officiate. Pinkard Funeral Home of Haleyville will direct.
She was a lifelong resident of Haleyville, a member of the Haleyville First United Methodist Church, a member of UMW, Circle of Love, and the Haleyville Study Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. "Buck" Long.
She is survived by her son, James Cecil Long Jr. of Decatur; daughter, Charlotte Long McNutt of Haleyville; sister, Barbara S. Chappell of Huntsville; grandchildren, Brad McNutt, Todd McNutt, Kim Robertson and her husband, Bobby; and great-grandchild, Drake Robertson.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Haleyville First United Methodist Church Organ Fund.
