THOMAS, Kyle 41, of Springfield, died Friday March 5, 2010 in Springfield Regional Medical Center - East High Campus. He was born January 3, 1969 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of David and Peggy (Hawes) Thomas. Kyle was a member of North Hampton Community Church. He was a graduate of Northwestern High School Class of 1987. He was an outstanding athlete in high school. He attended Wright State University where he also coached a coed softball team. Kyle enjoyed the simple things in life and always maintained his humor no matter what the circumstances were. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all. Survivors include his mother, Peggy Thomas of Springfield; sister and brother-in-law, Jayne and Mickey Harvest of Savannah, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Becky Thomas of Springfield; three nieces, three nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, David Thomas; grandparents, two aunts, uncle and two cousins. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday March 9, 2010 with Pastor Jim Welch officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to North Hampton Community Church Building Fund, 105 N. Main Street, P.O. Box 277, North Hampton, Ohio 45349.
