CHARLES SELLICK
DANSVILLE — Charles Sellick, 84, of Dansville RD3 died in his home yesterday (June 29, 1961).
He was a retired sea captain and had resided in this vicinity for the last two and a half years. He was captain of a mine sweeper during World War I and during World War II he served as s relief captain in the New York harbor on military transport. He was born on Prince Edward Island.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mary Gibbs of Whittier, Calif., Mrs. Caroline Tedesco of Englishtown, N.J., and Mrs. Dorothy Scott of Dansville; two sons, Frank of West Buckstown, Me., and Charles of Stamford, Conn.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Chamberlin Funeral Home in Dansville where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Paul Show will officiate. Burial in Ossian Cemetery.
