The deceased was a native of Alabama, coming to Louisiana when only four years of age. Before her marriage to Mr. C. A. [sic J. J.] Buce in 1862, she was Miss Cynthia Harris. She was a consecrated Christian and a member of the Farmerville Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, R. W. Buce of Winnfield and J. T. Buce of Memphis, Tenn., and one daughter, Mrs. F. F. Preaus, of Farmerville.
Mr. and Mrs. Buce of Winnfield attended the funeral services.
