NOTE: It is unlikely that this is the Oliver Carter who is the subject of a Revolutionary war plaque in this same cemetery. This Oliver was aged 60 in 1775, and aged 65 in 1780. It is more likely that it was his son Oliver, b.c1743/4, who served in the Revolution.

His first wife, married about 1738 or 1739, was Beulah Wilder Carter.

His second wife, married Aug 27,1777, was the widow Hannah Flagg.

Children(by first marriage): Oliver Carter, Oliver Carter Jr(Here?), Beulah Carter Fairbanks, Ephraim Carter, Abigail Carter Pierce, Elizabeth Carter Whitcomb, Esther Carter, and Asaph Carter.
