Mrs. Sarah H. Clements, aged 83 [sic], died Thursday evening, Mar. 28, at 7:00 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. E. DuBose, and was buried at Sugar Loaf Friday afternoon at 3:30 with Rev. McAfee of the Killeen Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Clements was one of the pioneer women of this section and the widow of Adam Clements, who died several years ago at the age of 89 [sic]. In the death of Mrs. Clements a true lady of the Old South has gone to her reward. She lived in Killeen for quite awhile at one time and many here will recall her with pleasure. She was a friend of this paper and during her residence here was a constant subscriber."
