Five youngsters, the children of David and Katherine (McMunn) Booher of Kittanning RD2, Rayburn Township, died Sunday, Jan 10, 1982 in a fire in the family home. Diana Booher, 16, was born April 29, 1966, Patricia Booher, 12, was born March 24, 1969; David Booher Jr. and Gary Booher, 10-year-old twins, were born July 19, 1971 and Robert Booher, three, was born June 23, 1978. They were members of the North Buffalo Church of the Brethren. In addition to their parents, survivors include maternal grandparents Clarence and Hazel McMunn of McGrann and paternal grandmother Ruby Booher of Ford City. BOOHER – Friends of the family of David and Katherine Booher of Kittanning RD2, Rayburn Township, whose five children died in a fire at their home on Sunday, Jan. 10, 1982, will be received from noon until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the North Buffalo Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Robert Burns, pastor will officiate and burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by the John R. Kennedy Funeral Home, Kittanning.
