Reginald Aime Roy, 61, of 3 Averill Terrace died on Dec. 18, 1980, after a long illness. He was born in Winslow on April 2, 1919, to Harold and Lena (Trial) Roy.

Reggie was employed by Scott Paper and Bill's Luncheon and the Credit Bureau on Temple Street in Waterville.

He and his wife Yvette were co-owners of Roy's Real Estate Co. in Waterville. He was a member of the Winslow Lions Club and a former member of the Waterville Exchange Club and was a Sacred Heart Church communicant.

He was as sergeant in the U.S. Army and served during WWll. On August 24, 1940, he married Yvette Gladys Boisvert Roy. They would go on to raise 3 children in Waterville.

He is survived by his wife Yvette G. (Boisvert) Roy, one son, David R. Roy, two daughters, Terry A. and husband David Baird of Winslow, and Brenda Roy of Waterville. Also survived by four sisters. Juliet and husband Leo Pomerleau of Augusta, Evelyn MacKellar of Winthrop, Virginia Belanger of Winslow, and two brothers, Richard Roy, and Thomas Roy, both of Waterville. He was also survived by five grandchildren.
Visiting hours were held at Gallant Funeral home on Elm St. in Waterville and funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Church on Pleasant Street in Waterville. Burial was at the veteran's cemetery in Augusta.
